Cookie and analytics policy
Last updated: 2026-06-26
Some of the data collection described below is not yet active. Each item is marked active or planned.
Active Functional storage
The age gate stores a single first-party setting,
kinkembrace.ageVerified, in your browser so the age confirmation is
not shown again. It is functional, not tracking. It is technically browser
storage rather than a cookie, described here under cookies and similar
technologies.
Active Analytics
This site uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics service. It sets no cookies and stores no information on your device. It collects no personal information and does not track you across other sites. Only aggregate, anonymous counts are recorded, for example which pages are viewed and roughly how many visits there are. Plausible is hosted in the European Union. The analytics script is served from our own domain, and the page view counts are sent to Plausible to be tallied. Because there are no analytics cookies and no personal data, there is nothing to opt out of, so no opt-out mechanism or consent banner is provided.
Consent banner consideration
A consent banner may be required if visitors from the EU or UK are expected. This is flagged as a consideration and is not built here.
Changes
This policy is kept current as each feature ships.
