What this policy covers

This policy explains how Captain, operating as KinkEmbrace, handles personal information. For any privacy question, contact us at captain@kinkembrace.com.

Information we collect

• Active The age-gate functional setting kinkembrace.ageVerified, stored in your browser so the age confirmation is not shown again.
• Active Anything you choose to write when you email us directly at captain@kinkembrace.com.
• Planned Contact form submissions (name, email, message), once a contact form is in place.
• Active Aggregate, anonymous analytics from Plausible: which pages are viewed and roughly how many visits there are. No cookies are set, no personal information is collected, and you are not tracked across other sites.

Why we collect it

To run the site, to answer enquiries you send us, and to understand how the site is used so it can be improved. We do not sell personal information.

Who processes it

Our host and content delivery network is Bunny.net. Our analytics provider is Plausible Analytics, which processes only aggregate, anonymous, cookieless usage data. A third-party form provider (to be named) will process data once a contact form is in place.

Overseas disclosure

Some recipients are located outside Australia. Bunny.net operates overseas, and Plausible Analytics is hosted in the European Union, so it is an overseas recipient; any offshore form provider added later would be one too. Plausible is cookieless and records only aggregate, anonymous counts; your browser sends each page view directly to Plausible, including your IP address, which Plausible uses to count the visit and then discards without storing it. Personal information that is collected may be disclosed to, stored by, or processed by recipients outside Australia, consistent with Australian Privacy Principle 8.

How long we keep it

Emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted. The age-gate setting lives in your browser until you clear it. Plausible stores only aggregate, anonymous statistics, with no personal data to attribute to you and nothing stored on your device. Retention for the planned contact form will be stated here once that feature is active.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To do so, email captain@kinkembrace.com.

Complaints and escalation

If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy concern, you can escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

Some of the collection described above is not yet active; this policy is kept current as each feature ships. Reviews and testimonials are curated by Captain. A review may show a public handle the reviewer already uses publicly, or initials if the reviewer asks to be anonymised. When review submission is introduced, this policy will be updated to cover review-submission data.
